The austin cactus and succulent society promotes the interest, study, propagation, conservation, and public awareness of cacti and other succulents. MEETINGS: Meetings are held each month throughout the year. During the months January through October the meetings are usually held at 7:30 PM on the third Thursday of the month at the Austin Area Garden Center in Zilker Park. shows at the Garden The Society maintians a Library, including numerous books and journals from around the world on various topics about cacti and succulents, horticulture, conservation. MEMBERSHIP: Membership in our society shall be open to anyone having an active interest in cacti and succulents. Our membership includes people of varied backgrounds, ages, and interests. Dues are $15 for individual full state and austin membership and $20 for two or more individuals living at the same address.
